SolidNoise is a robotic music ensemble that makes sound by striking, shaking, tapping
and blowing on physical objects — including the architecture of the space itself.
Custom hardware and software let the motors be driven over MIDI.
First presented in the ATLAS Black Box theater as an evening of original compositions
written for the ensemble.
