A recurring gathering for Boulder's artists, engineers, and everyone building at the edge of both.
Boulder Experiments in Art and Technology (B.E.A.T.) is a community I started in 2019 for people
working at the intersection of art, technology, and science — an open-mic-meets-show-and-tell
where anyone can bring a project, finished or in progress, to share.
The group has grown into its own thing: an ongoing series of meetups around Boulder, and in 2021
its first museum show, Convivial Machines, at the Museum of Boulder — an exhibit split into
contrasting light and dark halves, built entirely from work by the community.
B.E.A.T. still meets regularly. The next date is always posted on the Meetup page.
